Huawei’s recent foray into the market for affordable Wi-Fi 6 routers has excited many Wi-Fi router manufacturers and have decided to keep up. TP-Link introduced home routers for various purposes. At the same time, on the official website, many routers with Wi-Fi 6 from TP-Link appeared on sale.
The Archer AX20 is an affordable 2.4GHz and 5GHz router, considered a “beginner” device. It has a processor with 4 cores 1.5 GHz each, based on a Broadcom chip. OFDMA technology provides high quality Wi-Fi for multiple networked gadgets without interruption. Thanks to 1024-QAM modulation, the maximum signal rate is 40% faster in the 5 GHz band than Wi-Fi 5.
The main features of the router are 4 LAN ports for breeding a local network and 1 USB port, which allows you to connect modems or implement data storage. WPA3 encryption prevents brute-force attacks on the wireless network.
The Archer AX11000 is also equipped with a Broadcom CPU with 4 cores each, clocked at 1.8 GHz. RAM in this unit is 1 GB. The form factor with 8 antennas and 8 LAN ports (1 Gbps) informs us that we have a real gaming router in front of us.
The router offers 12-stream Wi-Fi with aggregate speeds up to 10Gbps. Of these, the first “game” point of 5 GHz accounts for 4804 Mbit / s, the second “working” 5 GHz – 4804 Mbit / s, the third “guest” 2.4 GHz – 1148 Mbit / s.
Data streams while maintaining high network speed are implemented by the game accelerator. The WAN port with a bandwidth of 2.5 Gb / s allows you to connect to the maximum available provider tariffs.
With the HomeCare security system, you can save documents or game accounts without worrying about their compromise. There are outputs for USB-A and USB-C for interfacing with a router of various “peripherals”.
Deco X20 and X60 – Mesh systems for seamless Wi-Fi routing within a large area of the home to provide quality signal to every corner.
Thanks to specially developed protocols, the mesh system uses 3 access points, which are read by devices as if the point is one.
The main device is connected to the Internet with a cable. The secondary ones act as repeaters, giving out a high-quality Wi-Fi 6 signal without pings and speed drops.
Deco Modules seamlessly provide seamless Wi-Fi data switching while streaming without data loss. This is realized thanks to the IEEE 802.11k / v / r protocols.
Deco X20 with Wi-Fi 6 speeds up to 1800 Mbps. For 5 GHz, 1201 Mbps is allocated, and for 2.4 GHz, 574 Mbps. Thanks to OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies, the bandwidth is quadrupled to simultaneously transmit information to multiple connected devices.
The Deco X60 mesh system achieves a total speed of up to 3Gb / s. For a point with 5 GHz – 2402 Mbps, and for 2.4 GHz, the speed is 574 Mbps. Three “cylinders” can cover an area of up to 650 m² with wireless internet. Two matched cylinders provide 460 m² coverage.
