The Your Phone program has successfully completed beta testing in the Windows 10 operating system and can be used by anyone who wants to. First of all, this option will be of interest to Samsung owners, since Microsoft has implemented the “launch” of Android applications on Windows under a partnership agreement with the South Korean corporate giant.
This utility is not an Android emulator integrated into the OS (but in vain), but a remote access program for launching and managing applications on a Samsung phone. When it works, the screen of the Samsung smartphone is broadcast on the PC display.
An update to this software is already underway and will be rolled out gradually. It is likely that it is already updated and ready to go. If not, then this should happen in the next week.
Using the program, you can pin Android applications directly to the taskbar and activate them just like other Windows tasks.
The list of devices supported by the integration with the application is quite large:
- From Samsung Galaxy A30s to A90 5G.
- From Samsung Galaxy S9 to S10 +.
- Note ruler starting with Note
- Galaxy Fold, Z Flip and Z Fofd2.
A maximum of 1 application is allowed to run on a device at a time. By the end of the year, they promise to roll out an option that allows you to run several applications in parallel.
For the application to work correctly, you need the Windows 10 October 2018 update. Also, you will need the latest updates for the Your Phone and Link to Windows programs, and your smartphone and PC must connect to a single wireless access point.
